Choose Your Attitude – Be Bold!

Over the past few months, something significant has been exposed in all of us: our attitude. I often underestimate how much my attitude determines my actions. My attitude determines how I handle my work, my words and my life. Here are three attitudes to choose today if you want to live well and be bold:
YOUR SITUATION IS UNFAIR:
Has life given you a lousy hand? Maybe so. But how about having a different attitude about it? Rather, choose to believe that you’re more blessed than you deserve. If you believe this, it forces you to count your blessings instead of taking them for granted. It’ll cause you to work hard—not out of guilt, but out of responsibility.
I’M NOT PREY:
Stuff happens. It just does. It’s one of life’s guarantees. However, walking around like you are prey is dangerous because it makes you feel like a victim and lifeless. Instead, take responsibility and initiative. Be proactive. Take authority instead of always playing defense. Having this attitude is a crucial aspect of being great at life.
YOU ARE NOT IN A RACE:
We tend to judge ourselves too harshly and often don’t appreciate the learning process. Have a learning attitude even if your failures are expensive lessons on life and growth. It will provide valuable perspective and will impact how you interact with those around you.
The Bible says this about our attitude: “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8 ESV
Choosing your attitude will determine how you view your life. I hope you have a great attitude! BE BOLD!
